We've had a nice response to our event on Thursday that we're holding at the Jewel KC downtown,

our North Pole,

South Pole Christmas experience, but we've got room for about 15 to 18 more people. So if you'd like to get in, some point this weekend, send your email to the folks at the Jewel and say, we want to come down there with Kevin and Jessica and the KKHI listeners. We've got a couple of our sponsors that will be there as well. some nice folks will show up, and we're just going to have a little holiday Christmas celebration

in the North Pole, South Pole at the JewelkC.com.

If you can't make it on Thursday, you can make your reservations to go anytime you like

that it fits your schedule on your own schedule at the JewelkC.com.

make Fridays fun, and I can't find a way to do that today unless I just eliminate the news.

It's not going to be a bummer. It's not a downer. It's not a downer of a podcast, but I'd have to

eliminate the news portion and just do sports and then we could do

fun, but I'm not doing that today because that's ripping you off. And I don't want to do that

leading into the weekend. So we're going to start today. We're going to try to do some news that's

not great in a way that fits fun Friday. We might mock these people a little bit.

We may laugh at them a little bit on things that are really bad, sad, tragic, whatever.

These are bad stories that I'm not trying to make light of them.

Maybe mock's the wrong word.

I'm trying to say, I want to lightheartedly present these stories to you because there's a common thread

between all of them

and that has to do with basically crime in America and people who perpetrate crimes in America
