Summary

In Episode 51: From Rock Bottom To Trucking, Tony and Brian chat with Zach, a brand new Class A trucker. Zach is still wet behind the ears in the trucking industry, and he shares what led him to truck driving, and how he got to where he is now. It's been a long, hard road for Zach, who hit rock bottom when he admitted he was a alcoholic. Since that point, he has turned his life around, thoroughly enjoys his job, and is grateful for all that he has! Zach talks about overcoming his addiction, and the impact it had on his life. He also tells us some great stories from a new driver's point of view, offering perspectives that are not only entertaining but also encouraging. 0:55.2	were given. That was episode 51 from Rock Bottom to trucking with Zach.
1:01.7	Zach was a new truck driver at that time. So, you know, this is a little over a year maybe ago.
1:08.1	And he just, he shared with us just all of the experiences he had of getting
1:13.4	into the trucking industry after admitting that he was an alcoholic. This was one of those that
1:18.6	kind of was a little more personal of his story for Zach, but it was actually really good, too,
1:24.0	to hear the perspective of a new trucker getting into the industry, especially
1:28.6	after turning your life around, you know, truck driving in general is something that has helped
1:33.5	to basically turn my whole family's life around. Truck driving just basically gave, you know,
1:39.2	my whole family a new lease on life, if you will. You know, well my dad got his cdl and he started driving i mean
1:46.2	it was a slow slow process as they've said before in the show um you know low paying jobs terrible
1:52.8	hours all that crap um but now i mean you know you can get your cdl and you can get you know
1:59.0	you can start a company's for ridiculous, you know,
2:02.2	amounts of money. You can be home every night. And that's kind of what happened to us, you know,
2:06.7	is like the CDL that my dad got just kind of clicked and it changed things. You know, driving in this
