We're covering it all. Yankees wins, Giants drama, national headlines, and whatever chaos the day brings on the field and all. No filler, no filters, just real conversation. And believe me, plenty of laughs every weekday morning. We don't hold back and we don't waste your time. |
| 0:22.8 | We get to what actually matters. |
| 0:24.5 | That's boomer and geo and you can listen on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your pods. What's up guys? I'm Jordan Robinson, host of the podcast, The Women's Hoops Show. We're heading towards the home stretch of the WMBA season, and there is so much to get into every episode. Twice a week, I'm joined by one of my amazing co-hosts as we dissect the biggest games, performances, and even some off-court drama. The playoffs are quickly approaching, and now is the best time to tune in. Who will come away is this year's champion? The competition is heating up and so are we. Listen to and follow the women's hoops show available now wherever you get your podcasts. It's the Boomer and Carton warm-up show with Alan Jerry. It's just like Boomer and Carton without Boomer or Carton. Good luck with that. Good morning, Al. It's Friday morning. How are you? Hi, Jerry. What's going on? Oh, I'm very well. I saw this Revis situation where he got into some sort of altercation on the streets of Pittsburgh. I guess it happened Sunday night. Which how did, by the way, how do we not know about it all week? Yeah, I don't know. It's Friday. |
| 1:28.1 | In this day and age of social media and everything that gets out and dead spin, it's Friday and we, well, I guess Thursday we learned of it. It's really amazing that it's been so quiet. Yeah, so supposedly what the story is, is that Revis was roaming the streets at 2.30 in the morning. Because good things always happen when you're doing that at that time. |
| 1:45.3 | Yeah, he says he was going to check out some property. |
| 1:47.7 | It seems like a business property. |
| 1:49.2 | At 2.30 in the morning. |
| 1:49.9 | Just to check it out. |
| 1:52.2 | Some two dudes try to photograph him with their iPhone or try to like videotape him. |
| 1:59.3 | He does not like that. |
| 2:03.0 | He takes their phone and throws it. |
| 2:11.5 | An altercation ensues. Those two gentlemen are out cold and Revis is gone. Do I have that pretty? |
| 2:20.6 | I would say so. I mean, at least from the things I've read. Yeah. So normally us folks in the media, Jerry, if I might put myself in there, we like to collect all the facts before we come up with our theory. |
| 2:23.9 | Yes. |
| 2:24.3 | I'm on Team Revis on this one. |
| 2:26.3 | If that's the case and he was approached by them first, you might be right. |
| 2:31.3 | Why would Derell Revis randomly knock out two guys on the streets in Pittsburgh? Why is Doreau Rivas looking at property at 2.30 in the morning? Well, I think he probably was coming from somewhere. You think? He was in the area. Right. But my dream is to see Bruce Springsteen roaming Asbury Park. And I'm there quite often on the weekends. |
| 2:51.2 | Yeah, I know. |
| 2:51.7 | You want to be noticed. |
| 2:53.3 | No, I do want to see Bruce Springsteen in his environment. |
| 2:56.3 | Right. |
| 2:57.1 | Would you read Malone? |
