personally the new year is off to a decent start, but it has not been a good year so far.

No, the past two weeks, we're recording on January 14th, the past two weeks has been a very long year. I'm happy to be done with

2020 already. All right here comes to 2021. All right bring it on.

No, none of that's right. That's not how it works? No. Okay. I think we have to address reality.

All right, well then then let us address reality. A quick recap of the last two weeks and then we'll take things in order as it works.

So the year since we last recorded we've had a Fokker 100 in Kazakhstan briefly left the ground and came back down, skidded along the side of the

runway and impacted a building.

That led to the first fatal accident of the year. Then there were missile

launches from Iran into Iraq in retaliation for for the killing and Iranian general.

That led to changes in how airlines were using the airspace.

That same night, a Ukraine International Airlines 737 was shot

down well departing Tehran by Iranian surface-to-air missiles. All the while the 737 Max saga continues with the additional release of documents and messages between

737 pilots that do not paint a pretty picture at all.

On the stranger side, federal, state and local officials are hunting mystery drones in Colorado, Nebraska, and Wyoming.

And in not quite breaking news, but happened earlier today, a Delta triple 7 dumped fuel in return in preparation for an emergency
