So I figured why not follow up, Melissa, on some mistakes that beginners will make that can

Yeah and seed starting is one of those things in gardening where it really is simple when you get down to it as long as you know some key things.

So one of the biggest issues and we talked about this just a little bit in the previous

episode is making sure that you're actually using the right

type of soil and you're getting a potting soil seed starting mix.

The reason for that is if you just use soil from outdoors and bring it inside and your seat

starting inside one is you're going to be amazed at the things that hatch and

come out of that you're going to have little nets and all kinds of bugs

coming around and in your house

which nobody wants. I actually seed start in the corner of my living room. I don't have a heated

greenhouse or a garage. So you can seed start in very small amounts of spaces by the way.
