With this being the biggest holiday release and touted as a breakthrough in 3D movie

making, we will be reviewing this film.

This will be a spoiler-filled discussion of the movie, so if you are spoiler-sensitive,

Today we're talking about Avatar, directed by James Cameron, starring Sam Worthington,

Zoe Saldanya, Stephen Lang, Michelle Rodriguez, Giovanni Ribisi, and Sigourney Weaver.

Okay, it's got some people in it and some blue people in it.

And let's start off with a plot summary for people who just don't care about spoilers but haven't yet seen the movie.

Who like to be spoiled.

I want to know what I'm getting into before I see a movie. And let's be

fair, this movie has been under a cloud of secrecy for much of its run. I mean, I've known

about this movie in some form for 10 years, ever since they were talking about Cameron was under

Antarctica ice filming things for a movie about outer space. And that was like, you know, before 2000.
