Regressing to the mean since 2015, it's the Hockey PEDEOCast with your host, Dmitri

0:16.3

Filipovich.

0:19.7

Welcome to the Hockey PEOCast. My name is Dmitri Filipovich. And joining me is my good buddy, Jesse Marshall. Jesse, what's going on, man?

Good to be back. Nice to see you. Happy playoff season. Yes, happy playoff season. Indeed. So the plan for today is you and I are going to use this off day between, or extra off day, I should say, between games as the series shifts from

0:38.0

Winnipeg to Colorado to break down the first two games of Avs Jets, a series that has been

0:43.7

immensely eventful so far. And I think very satisfyingly also lived up to all the hype that I

But I want to get into it all with you.

1:21.4

So what kind of stuck out for you just watching these first two games, whether it's

1:25.0

something that reinforced your pre-existing beliefs on either

1:28.6

team or something that kind of caught you off guard and you weren't necessarily expecting.

1:32.2

How about a little of both?

1:33.7

I don't think anybody expected Winnipeg, Dimitri, to come in from an offensive perspective

1:39.7

and be able to successfully trade Haymakers with Colorado.

1:43.7

But I also think that like the story being Winnipeg is goaltending and Winnipeg's

1:48.7

team D is their identity was a little overblown.
