Summary

#157. On this week's pod Ed & Paul look back on United's victory over Swansea at the Liberty Stadium. The Reds picked up David Moyes' first Premier League win, scoring three 'worldies' on the way, although there were times when the result was more flattering than the performance. Two goals from Danny Welbeck puts the young England international in good stead for the season ahead. Can the much discussed player improve on his meagre goals tally from last season? We talk Wayne Rooney - the player made his comeback against Swansea, creating two goals but looking well below acceptable fitness. Meanwhile, United put in a low bid for Everton pair Marouanne Fellaini and Leighton Baines. The bid was rejected by the Merseyside outfit who claimed to be "insulted" by the "derisory" bid. Finally, we look ahead to Monday night's game against Chelsea. Will Rooney play against his prospective employers?!No Question About That is available on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Stitcher, Spotify, YouTube, Amazon Music and all good podcast apps. And the So, Major Apollo Tires. Tires. Is it anything to do with Apollo out of the Rocky Films?

0:32.4

Apparently not, although United's Creed does seem to depend on them not spending any money on

0:37.2

midfielders.

0:38.2

Although I cannot promise you that Apollo Tires is not a left back that we've signed

0:42.4

an unheard of European left back.

0:44.4

Well, yeah. When the bid went in, Ed Woodwood bid 12pence, they offer 13 and he offered 10.

0:50.8

That's the way things go, isn't? Yeah pretty much Edward is doing an extremely

0:55.4

efficient job at doing the job that he was previously doing, not so good at doing his new job it would seem.

1:01.0

Although my favorite Twister question of the week comes from

1:03.6

at Big Shimmery Wall who says did a typo mean that Edward would have spent the

1:07.8

summer singing about new players instead of signing them. I think that might

1:11.6

explain a lot.

1:12.6

Edward, the musical.

1:14.2

Yeah, yeah, he's just walking around singing Viva Rinaldo,

1:18.4

but not doing anything about any of it.

1:20.2

Well, of course, if the typos are probably and be singing Viva Orlando wouldn't he?

1:25.0

Yes. All kinds of other problems there. I'd accept

1:29.2

Ralando to be honest at this point. So yeah it looks like United

of putting a bid for for Laini and Baines 28 million pounds double

1:36.9

bid valuing Baines at 12 million the exact same figure that was turned

1:40.9

down last month or June.

1:42.8

Mind you, while the Baines bid is probably undervalued,
