and as we're watching the u.s open there's tiger woods and i'm going to start with tiger woods

with you because that's a big part of this book you found him uh as a 13 year old somehow and you

recount how you met him in this book and and how it all started for him and the deals that you made with him and his dad Earl for title list and, of course, Nike.

What made you go and find a 13-year-old Tiger Woods in California?

Well, it's funny.

All the tennis guys at IMG who chase younger players all the time.

For example, Carlos Alcarez, signed with an agent when he was 13.

But golf, especially in those days, not at all.

You know, kids would go to college usually for four years, the Curtis Strangers, and then turn pro.
