And, D, yesterday we talked about the potential pitfalls of this Lakers team. And some of that had to do with the level of cohesion, contract year, changing roles.

And I want to talk about some of the players that we think that that will affect over the course of this season.

And the first guy that's really been on my mind lately is Austin.

And I'm this mix of both very excited and very nervous about Austin's upcoming season.

This time a year ago, he was, and you laid this out yesterday,

was preparing for his first year in the point guard position, a real concerted effort by Redick

and the coaching staff to have him be the lead guy, push DeLo to the side a little bit and

put more on Austin's plate. And I remember thinking that, I like that idea. I just wish he were

in year three of doing that because of all of the things that you learn from the reps of doing that.

Well, he got one year of that, especially during the regular season, then a playoff series

where his role changed a decent amount. And as we've said a few times on this pod, two-thirds of

his shots were
