When her two kids came out as gay, she panicked and asked her children to remain in the closet to keep up appearances.

Since then, Lola has come about 180 degrees and fully supports her children and is a proud advocate for equality.

So much in fact, her most popular video, Mom on her two gay kids, was yanked off of

YouTube at the beginning of Pride Month when haters flagged it enough times to set off their

automated system.

Only because of public outcry was the video brought back up. And it's because of the efforts of people like Lola Rose and her daughter, Jill Abrams, that the video sharing giant is even aware of its shortcomings when dealing with LGBT voices and the conservative backlash.
