And tonight's guest is Jason Collette, the reigning champion of the American League.

League of Alternative Baseball Reality or AL Labor for short.

It's an auction, 12 teams.

We did it in Florida this past weekend.

So I wanted to have Jason on to talk about what it was like to go in as the reigning champ.

And I'll start right there, Jason.

It was a cool feeling in the room.

You were the champion.

I was very, very happy for you.

I know you've been in that league for a bit.

So what was it like kind of going to the table as the reigning champion of A.L.

Labor, first of all, I mean, I have been labor combined.

I think it's been 13 years.

I had a hiatus in the middle there.

And then, you know, I've been in Tc 15, 16, first time I've won.

I finished second. I finished third, but first time I had won. And as I said in the email chain, I, if the season had gone one more week, I don't believe I would have been the defending champ. I'd limp to the finish line, but I'm glad I got there. So it was fun to, like, finally get Rick, uh, Rick, uh, Rick, uh, Rick, and Glenn Colton back dropping a ring into the cup like they have done to me for so many years. I mean, they're like Tom Brady when they walk into the room with so many rings on their hand. And it was fun to get that little bit of payback. And to be able to throw out the first name, although Sir Nick Pollock, I'm still upset at you for not being in the room because I told you i would throw out cole regans just for you and you weren't there to enjoy it yeah you could you could tell

when nick pollock was there to enjoy now but um yeah his silence was was deafening there and

yeah love love competing against rick and glen, they're, they're great at this.

So yeah, man, congratulations. And it definitely seemed like you, I don't know,

it seemed like you were a bit more relaxed almost, maybe, just because you had the title.
