Today I am joined once again by Dr. Nina Sophie Harriman, Professor of Scripture out at St. Patrick's Seminary in Menlo Park visiting with us here at the center all week here in Steubenville, Ohio.

Thank you, Dr. Hunt. It's such an honor to be here.

It's a joy for us as well to host you.

Not only for the lecture last night, but above all, for the book that you have

published with us, A Thirst for the Spirit biblical wisdom for desert times. We talked about that book last

episode, especially chapter 4, the 12 steps through the desert. Chapter 5 is on the song of songs and it's just a brief treatment of something

that you did for your doctorate but in a not so brief format. I have a copy here of the published version. I thought my own dissertation which broke the record

at Marquette at 775 pages was probably you know about as high as you can go.

But then Dr. Gary Anderson and also Father Giambroni

encouraged me to get a copy of the dissertation in its pre-publication form.
