listeners. Maybe I could start by explaining where Galicia is. Do you think that would be useful

for people? That would be good, but first should I call you Lisa or Lisa Rose?

Oh, call me Lisa. Yeah, we'll be informal, that's fine.

Yeah, where are we talking about?

So there's actually two Galitius in Europe. The other one is actually in Poland, but we are the autonomous

region in the far northwest of Spain, so that's the bit above Portugal. We're bounded on

two sides by the sea, the Contabrian sea on the north and the Atlantic Ocean

on the west and the next point west of us is actually the USA, about 3,000 miles away.

On the east side of Galicia were bounded by mountains and then Asturias.

And on the south we are bordered by Portugal and the wide River Meino.

So it's quite an isolated region if you imagine that it's this small square place it's only I think 11,000

square miles so we're not particularly big and quite isolated so that makes it an

interesting place I think and then why should someone go to

Galicia? So Galicia is I would say variety in miniature it's a compact package for

the traveler.
