Amateur Traveler episode 76. Today the Amateur Traveler goes to Vietnam.

I got my bags packed on a roll.

I'm heading out there and I'm ready to go looking real good in my passport photo

15 hour flight oh I don't think I'll ever be coming home.

You know I love it.

I got to see one more cathedral.

I got to sit in one more cafe.

I know that I should be heading home but maybe not maybe not to the day.

Normally at this point in the show you'd hear the broadcast news fanfare which would announce that this is the news segment.

I'm going to put that off just a few seconds

here because I have a lot of new listeners and I want to give you just a quick

overview of how the show is arranged. Generally there's the

introduction and then there's a section from two to five minutes about news about travel news

from around the world and then there is the main section a story particularly

usually about a particular place and that is often an interview and then after that comes a

section on internet resources for travel and then a section with news and

community and that's usually where I hide the information about any contest we might be doing

and we are doing a contest this week.

And that's also where I have played calls that I've received or emails and give you a chance to also contribute to the show.
