Excellent. I'd like to welcome to the show John Mackenzie from John the

Traveler.com and John has come to talk to us about Kansas. John, welcome to the

What is your connection to Kansas?

So I originally am from Kansas.

I've lived there for about 25, 26 years. I grew up in a small town in the northeast part of

Kansas and still have family there. Can you say the small town or are you in

the witness relocation period? We should not mention this.

It's called St Mary's, so it's about halfway

between Topeka and Manhattan, Kansas.

Excellent.

I am sure there are one or two people who are listening to the show who don't have

Kansas on their list of places to go. So why are they wrong? Why should somebody think about

going to Kansas? Well, Kansas is one of those states that has a lot of subtle, interesting, kind of peculiar sites.
