I'd like to welcome to the show Shane Dallas from the travel camel.com who has come to talk to us

about Kenya.

And Shane and I have known each other for a decade or so by now.

I don't really know.

When I first met Shane, but quite a while, he has not been on amateur traveler though before,

and I am surprised to say that but he has been on this we can

travel three different times so if you listen to both those podcasts you may

recognize Shane and Shane you know a little bit about Kenya yes Yes, I certainly do. I've been living there since August 2015.

And what brought you to Kenya, first of all?

So I left Australia at the end of December 2012 and I this is not a Kenya accent

We do need to clarify that. Okay. I am Australian yes and so I I left in December 2012 made a redundant from the job and just started traveling and

the longer I travelled the slower I travelled. So eventually you are going to stop when was on the road non-stop the years at a time.

And Kenya, I know Maureen's Kenyan, and we had traveled through Namibia together and we originally were going to go to Zanzibar,

believe it or not, and stop there.

But we found getting accommodation there for long-term
