Let's talk about Sumatra. I'd like to welcome to the show Luke Mecken who is coming to us from wild Sumatra.com and

strangely enough is come to talk to us about Sumatra. Luke, welcome to the show.

And there are people who are right now going to their spouse or they're listening with going,

I've never heard of the country of Sumatra because we've thrown them a curveball.

Where are we talking about here?

So Sumatra is the largest island of Indonesia that's fully owned by Indonesia. It's the westernmost island and it's huge. It's about the same size as California.

So it's pretty big in Indonesia itself is the same size roughly as all of Southeast Asia combined.

So Sumatra would kind of be about the same size as Thailand.

So it's a huge place, but not many people visit or even know about it.

Okay.

And if we're in Singapore, then we're just off to the left.

Or from Malaysia.

Yeah.

Kind of above.
