Beguonages, and beer as we go to Belgium, to Northern Flanders.

Welcome to the amateur traveler. I'm your host Chris Christensen. We don't have a

Northern Flanders. I'd like to welcome the show Sophie Cohen-Birch from

wonderful wanderings.com who's come to talk to us about a region in northern Belgium.

Thank you, thanks for having me.

And I'm going to let you introduce where we're talking about today,

because this is not a region I knew. No, we're actually, well, we're talking about today because this is not a region I knew.

No, we're actually well we're talking about a part of a region in Belgium

we're talking about the Flemish-speaking part which is like you said in the north

of Belgium and most people know it because it's where the

famous city of Brueges but I don't want to talk about Bruech today I want to talk

about my hometown which is Lue, and two other smaller cities that I feel like tourists often pass on and that are really worried to visiting as well, which are Hossals and Mehella.

Excellent.

And so these three cities are all located fairly close to one another.

They can easily be reached by train if you like leave from one city and then go to the other.

And they can be perfectly go to the other.
