Summary

I talk about my recent trip to Berlin and Prague in December. This trip was just after the 20 year anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall and 20 years after my last trip to Berlin. We will look at a 3 hour free walking tour of Berlin and at a paid private tour of Prague (a gift from OurExplorer.com). We will talk about the history of World War II, Communism and even the Hussite Wars. We will talk about the Christmas markets which are everywhere in both cities in December with their booths, crafts, food and mulled wine. I will tell you of some of the sites of these cities including museums, castles, churches, memorials, and even an Art Nouveau stain glass window in a very old yet also very new cathedral. 0:46.2	I'm starting this recording on Christmas morning and the kind of news that we had over the last
0:50.9	week was a British airline strike that almost happened, stranding
0:55.4	lots of passengers for Christmas.
0:57.3	The Chunell train getting stuck in the Chunell and people being stranded at train stations in Paris and London for a couple days.
1:06.1	Two different planes skidding off the runway, one in Jamaica because of rain and one in Glasgow which hit ice and also skidded off the runway.
1:15.4	The first at American Airlines jet and the second one Orion Air Jet.
1:19.4	So the biggest thing I'd like to say at this point is I hope you were able to get safely wherever you
1:23.4	were traveling to this holidays and that none of these new stories affected you or
