Today we talk about Beer, Matt Kings and Kuku clocks as we go to Bavaria and southern Germany. Welcome to the amateur traveler. I'm your host Chris Christensen.

Before we get into this week's interview I do have some new stories for you.

Here's a young man, a young American tourist who had difficulty with the idea of catching a train.

In the southern outback, he managed to climb onto a train because he thought he was going to miss it.

He ended up outside the train in a stairwell

as the train hit speeds of 200 kilometers per hour until someone finally managed to hear him.

Tell me if this seems like a good idea to you. An airline worker

had a friend who was moving and he was taking a plane and wanted to take one of

his guns with him, unloaded I might add, and the airline worker helped him smuggle it

aboard the plane. They got caught, they're both in jail. Yeah, don't do that. Since a recent study came out and said the airline

industry is about to lose $9 billion it may be good news that a study came

out this week that said that for the environment a train might be worse than a plane.

This is taking into account the full life cycle omission by 11 different means of transportation. This is going to cause some controversy,

this is going to cause some controversy I can imagine. But you can check out that story as well
