The question I will be examining this evening is this.

0:28.2

Why did medieval philosophers, especially medieval

0:31.6

0:36.0

1:38.8

history of science and philosophy. In antiquity, the discipline that we call science, today was largely the domain of philosophers.

1:47.0

The very first philosophers in Greek-speaking Western Turkey were primarily interested in the study of the natural world,

1:55.0

and were searching for principles, origins or beginnings that could explain change.
