privilege in the world to be with so many friends from all over the world who join me every

week to listen to my stories, inspiration, biblical encouragement and I am just so glad

that you're here today. Thank you so much for joining me.

Hi my friends, how are you? It's Sally Clarkson and I am so happy to be talking with you today.

I am, it's amazing here in Colorado. It has been down to 52 degrees today and it went a little

bit over 60 but it is foggy and cloudy and colder and oh my goodness, it's a kind of a promise of the

fall or winter to come. It's just such a mountainy day. For those of you who don't know about where I live,

I live in when I'm not living in Oxford, I live in Monument, Colorado, which is kind of a little

suburb mountain town where I live is 70, 250 feet above sea level and it's hard to grow things

here. I have lots of mountain wildflowers and lots of pine trees. I live in a sort of a forested

area, kind of semi-forested. I think it was planted during the pioneer times, at least so they say.

Lots of aspens, lots of deer and rabbits and squirrels and occasionally foxes and coyotes and so

I'm sitting here as per usual on my, my little, I have a couch, an old couch that faces a wide window

in my living room. I'm seeing all the flowers that people sent me for my birthday and I'm looking

out on the wonderful pines and the different forested trees and it's just a great place and Sunday

afternoon finds me. As usual sitting here, I've got my candles lit, my tea in hand, I've been streaming

favorite music, facing all of the windows and pondering my week. Oh my goodness, my friends. I think

everyone should have a 70th birthday week. I don't think I've ever celebrated a birthday for so

long and it was so special and you made it special. I just want to tell you a little bit about it

because all of you were such a part of it. You know a couple of weeks ago I had my birthday

kind of blow out with my children which is really fun and we spent a couple of days together
