So we're going to try and get through as many of those as possible. But before that, David,

Amorim, Enzo Moreska, what's it like from your perspective to cover these kind of stories?

Absolute hell.

It's some way to start the new year, for sure.

We've had Moreska, what was that Thursday?

New Year's Day?

It was starting to rumble on New Year's Eve.

And then we were starting to get noises in and amongst the reporting of the Moreska story, even though there was no link to what I'm about to say. People telling me you've got to keep your eye on

the Ruben Amarim situation at Man United. And you're thinking, hold on a sec. I'm just dealing

with one major explosion to get 2026 underway.

Can't even get your head round another. But very quickly, you start pivoting and making calls,

sort of triangulating your information in a not too dissimilar way to how we would deal

with any story, transfers or contracts or ownership situations and suddenly you know

you're forming and I think I've used this analogy before it's almost like a police diagram you know

when you've got different faces and they're all linked in different ways from different

stories and there's alibis and you're trying to think of, you know, how best to check out
