Could gender identity have evolved in humans by giving people an urge to conform to what is expected of their sex

thus making them more attractive. I mean obviously we were sexually reproducing species that comes in two phenotypes, male and female.

Those definitions are not debatable until you know three minutes ago so it would make perfect sense that you

know your biological sex and your gender would be highly correlated now of course the standard story is your biological sex

you know is one thing whereas your gender is another but of course these two things are in most cases highly correlated. Now yes there could be men who are more feminine there could be more women who are more masculine so that it's not a perfect correlation but it is

you know hardly a completely you know distinct orthogonal set of variables but of course, we're sexually reproducing species, we've evolved to be

attractive to the opposite sex in most instances, notwithstanding same sex attractions, and therefore, yeah, of course it makes sense that it would move in the way
