Eric Sadal is also vice president of the Association of Los Angeles Deputy District Attorneys,

the collective bargaining agent representing nearly 1,000 deputy district attorneys

who work for the County of Los Angeles. Eric, kick us off and tell us a little bit about the ADDA

and its mission. Okay. Well, the ADDA represents the Lyme prosecutors in the Los Angeles County District

Attorney's Office, where the largest local prosecutorial agency in the country, probably in the

world. We handle all the felonies and some of the misdemeanors that have to do with state law

in Los Angeles County. As you know, L.A. is about 10 million people. It's larger than about 40 states.

So we have everything from petty theft to to multiple murders that we handle. And that's something
