Today we're joined by the actor, model, and dancer, Lena Bloom.

Over the past few years, Lena has been the first to break ground in many categories.

In 2017, she became the first trans woman of color to grace the pages of Vogue, India.

In 2019, she became one of the first trans women to walk Paris Fashion Week.

And most recently, Lena broke barriers again as the first trans cover model for sports-illustrated

swimsuit issue.

I'm a powerful combination of a lot of things in the world that has been ostracized, and

it's important for me to take all those things and put crowns on them and lead with that.

2021 has also been a break out year for Lena's on-screen career.

You might have seen her on the most recent season of the Emmy-winning FX show, Pose, or

in her debut role in the Martin Scorsese executive-produced film, Port Authority.

I only dance like this when I'm alone.

Show me.

I just think about taking back all that space that the world doesn't give me.

And just owning it, the space around my body, and the space around my body.
