Today we look back to November of 2018 with Ashley Brewer.

Ashley is currently an ESPN Sports Center anchor, and she's been with ESPN for a few years now.

But when we talked to her back in 2018, she was still a local sports anchor and reporter in Los Angeles with ABC 7.

You can watch Ashley pretty much every night if you turn on Sports Center on ESPN from Los Angeles. Ashley is doing her thing as a sports center anchor.

She's super talented. She's really nice, just a super person. And she loves Jesus. And when we had

that every single day because I like to think like I almost had it the easy way.

I was raised from, you know, pretty much the time I was born hearing the message of Jesus, hearing the gospel, from, you know, the books my mom would read us to praying before meals, praying before we would

go to bed at night. My mom and dad just set such a great Christian example in my household growing up.

And so even before sports and before all these things that were important to us, God and our

faith in Christ was number one always. And so everything else just came after that. And so I grew up

going to church every Sunday. We do things within the church throughout the week. All of our friends

were really through church. And so I was really lucky to always understand God and his word and be in the

word from a very young age. But I would say we had a group called Club 56th when I was in fifth and sixth grade in our church.

And we went to camp.

I remember one time during the fall, it was like a little weekend thing where we went up to Northern Arizona.
