A fatal mystery aboard a Carnival cruise ship is unfolding down in Florida. Anna Kepner, an 18-year-old high school senior from Titusville, Florida, was found dead aboard the Carnival Horizon on November 8th of 2025.

Family and classmates remember her as a straight-A student, cheerleader, and gymnast who had recently completed military entrance testing

and planned to enlist after graduation. Carnival Cruise Line confirmed the ship returned

to Port Miami following the incident and the FBI's Miami area office has opened an investigation.

Authorities have not released a cause of death.
