so Daniel can I ask you how long

okay so it sounds like your husband and just the the

interference that your sponsor was having was kind of what was driving you out of

it I don't know did we did we hear exactly how that happened when that happened and

kind of how many years it's been since you've been really involved in the program?

Yeah, so it was it was about five years after I I really started when I got a sponsor.

So again, I started going to like just meetings now and again when I was 12.

And I got a sponsor and really started going to meetings regularly like three times a week and calling my sponsor and all that when I was around 15 and I finally quit when I was 20.

Oh, okay, so you got out of there pretty quickly.

I was thinking it was going to be a longer run.

No, no, I got out of there pretty quickly.

Like I said near the end, my graduate classes were kind of interfering with it.

And the really the big thing that helped me to see was that, you know, I really grew up in AA so everyone all of my family was in AA of some sort and I really

believed that you needed this to live your life properly and that anyone who wasn't in it just didn't have a good life.

So all of a sudden I was in college and living with people who were not in the program and I could see that their lives were decent and they were able to live normal lives and not be affected by alcoholism and they weren't so much
