In Joel's bedroom, let's start on the floor with the toads, which represent amounts of something.

Remember that many of the toads are mooing, and this represents much, so that's many or a lot.

Well, the rest of the toads are resting.

And so Joel calls those toads the rest, or el resto.

So resto just means rest in this sense, the rest of them.

Now that's on the right side of the room.

On the left side, half of the toads are actually tadpoles.

And Joel's word for half is mitad.

So that's spelled M-I-T-A-D.

Mitad or la-M-A-T-A-D means half.

Here's a sentence example with mitad.

He didn't pay me attention even to half of what I was telling him.

No me ponia attention,

ni to the mitad de loke le decia.

Now let's go to the bed itself,

which represents parts of something.

On the right side of the front of the bed, it says, for rent.
