In this episode, we're going to expand on everything that we learned about Se from the previous episode. We'll learn some

interesting phrasing habits that Joel has when he uses ser, and we'll also learn the past tense

versions of to be in Spanish, as well as some of the future. First of all, let's talk just a little

bit more about the present tense forms of ser.

To recap, we have I am, which is represented by Joel, and that's soy.

For the lizard, he, she, or it is, that's ace.

For the pandas, or they are, it's son.

For you are, it's erres, based on the air rays from Ceres machine.

And then for we are, it's somos.

Let's learn how Joel says, it's me in Spanish.

You might think that that's es me, but Joel doesn't say it that way.

He's kind of egotistical, and so he likes to name himself twice. So when he says, it's me, he actually

says, I am I, Soy yo.

Soy yo?

Actually, he does this with any person when he uses this phrasing.

So It's Me is Soy Yo.

To say, it's them, he would actually say they are them, which would be son them, or actually son they, literally.

Son they, literally. To say it's you, it's eres you, literally you are you.
