result. Genuine bilingualism is not something to be taken lightly. For that reason, this

podcast is going to talk a lot about the theory behind accelerated language learning.

In this episode, we'll talk about how to approach thinking and speaking like a Spanish speaker

before we actually dive into vocabulary tomorrow.

Then we'll talk about the phrases and sentence structures necessary for Spanish in episode six,

and in fact, every fifth episode will focus on the

language learning process. Right now, let's focus on how it actually works to speak two or more

different languages. If you're going to learn Spanish, how are you going to keep that separate

from English so that you don't get the two mixed up. And if you might learn any other

languages, how are you going to make it so that you can confidently learn more and more Spanish

without confusing your, say, German or Portuguese vocabulary with your Spanish vocabulary?

Well, let's take an analogy from English accents. Let's say that you were raised in the U.S.,

but you want to mock a received pronunciation British accent. How are you going to do that?
