So as usual, probably not a huge amount to be spent

in this January transfer window at the time of recording.

Though it looks like Aston Villa could be one of the busiest Premier League clubs.

They've taken Philippe Coutini from Barcelona on loan.

And they're looking to do other deals as well.

And we should say, David, to be fair, before we talk about

the influence of Gerard, to be fair to Villa, they have been active in a lot of transfer

windows over recent years. Yeah, they have. They've got an extremely ambitious project under

their owners, the American, Wes Edens, and the Egyptian, Nasef Sawhiris,

and of course, Chief Executive there is Christian Perslow and their Danish technical director,

Johann Langer.

So they supported Dean Smith.
