Hello and welcome to your Red Friday episode of the Arrowhead Drive. I'm Pete Sweeney.

Let's start your morning with today's outlook on the Kansas City Chiefs. Here's what you need to know for November 12th.

We've been doing okay. It's a great city.

It's a great venue to play here. I mean if you're a player in this league, I think it's a pretty good situation.

If you get some young players that are pretty good on the team, I mean I'm just trying to give you thoughts, not that you don't know.

So I know we do get linked to them. You guys know Brett and so Brett's always going to keep his eyes and ears open and that's how he does.

And so you're going to get tied in with certain guys right or wrong. You're going to get tied in with certain guys.

But that's that's healthy too. That's what you want. You don't want to have a guy that's sitting around not doing that stuff.

Chief said co-jandy read made a decent pitch to all free agents when he spoke to the media earlier this week.

The problem is it didn't work this time. The Chiefs lost the Odele Beckham Jr. sweepstakes as it was announced late Thursday afternoon.

He would be signing a one year deal with the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams have one of the most past heavy offenses in the NFL.

So OBJ to Casey is no more. The Chiefs will have to improve the offense with the bodies they have in the room.

And the first opportunity will be on Sunday night football against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Yeah, so listen, we've got good players here. But you've got it in this business. You always have to keep your eyes open and I'm partial.

I think he does it as well or better than anybody. So I think that's healthy. It doesn't mean that guys are coming here.

But you got to look. You have to look at these things.

Of course, Big Red has to put his confidence in the players the Chiefs currently have on their roster.
