What do you think is like a non-obvious factor in whether a rookie makes it or not?

Can you think of anything that's like the intangibles?

It's really work ethic like you gotta you gotta be able to get in a gym like and a lot of it

is mental especially rookie year like everybody can play like especially in the WBA

it's only 144 spots 12 teams like so everybody was a star at their college like everybody's good you

know everybody was maybe all-american at least all-conference in their college period so that's

really not even the issue it's like learning the game like a lot of that stuff is mentally I mean

you know too like the the best players know the ins and outs of the game

Arike Agumboale might be best described as a basketball legend in the making and Notre Dame

she famously scored back-to-back game winners to lead her team to the national championship in 2018

and in just three years in the WMBA she's already been named an all-star game MVP

won the WMBA scoring title and been selected to the all WMBA first team. Arike is here today to talk
