Have you ever wondered what makes a powerful question or what makes a question powerful?

That is the topic of the episode for today.

This will not be our last episode on this topic.

It will be a beginning, but as you notice in all of our other episodes,

we ask different coaches, what are their best questions or most powerful questions that they

might ask, and we want to explore those more closely.

Someone wants to describe a powerful question as a hot knife cutting through butter.

The most powerful questions might be the ones that nobody has asked them before.

The power of a question is not the question, but the response that it awakens.

I have had clients who have come back to me for months and even years later saying

that a question or a statement that I made to them in a coaching session has echoed in their

mind ever since. And they are pondering about that question made them do something or want to

take action about it. So I do say I have to be really careful what I say

and be mindful about what I'm thinking, but it does tell me a lot

that what we say is important. And if we ask a great question and we have it nested just right,

it can be a launch point for a thousand thoughts that one might have to help them take great action.

A question may give you answers or knowledge. A powerful question gives you wisdom and insight.

Great. Great questions cause one to ponder think in two over issues.
