and I know this is maybe a little weird. We'll edit this out later. Where are Scott and Marianne Schupeman?

I'm forcing you to raise your hand. Where are you? Are you in here? Okay.

All right. You guys can sit down. I'm going to talk to you for a second. I'm a little emotional to have

Scott Marianne here right now. Scott and Marianne Schupeman's, Scott back there, was one of my youth leaders

when I was a student at my church growing up. And his family was faithful in our church.

And Scott and Marianne together were faithful in our church growing up.

And then later my dad moved away to plant a church in Nashville, Tennessee.

Scott and Marianne heard the call of God in their life,

and they moved away from a successful business

with not knowing where they were going or where their income and they moved away from a successful business with not knowing where

they were going or where their income was going to come from to help my dad plant a church in Nashville

Scott was one of the elders when I was a failing youth pastor and and I just felt led to go to this

pastor this little church plant and there's no way ever that they

would have let me pastor that church. But Scott prayed and fasted and God spoke to him and spoke

to him through the elders for me to become the pastor of that little church plant in Nashville.

And they faithfully serve, Scott and Marianne together sacrificial for nearly 20 years of that church.

There's no way, wait, there's no way that I'm your pastor now

if it wasn't for that family.
