is an illegal alien who entered the country back in January

and thanks the community members for stepping up to help police make an arrest

in a murder case.

After an extensive search, police report 18-year-old Juan Carlos Garcia Rodriguez

has been charged with capital murder.

Give me the family's initial response when they found out that that

an arrest was made.

Relief, the relief, some sort of peace, I could say,

and peace from the community as well because everybody's on edge.

The 11-year-old Maria was found dead inside of her apartment August 12.

She was at home while a father was at work.

After texting her dad about someone knocking on their door,

he found her body in a trash bag under a mattress later that afternoon.
