Good morning everyone and welcome back to another mornings with the masters where we devote ourselves to the Lord daily with you.

Good morning you guys. Good morning indeed. We're picking up a day seven of our attitude of expectancy

devotion in the Bible app. There there's link to that in the

description if you guys want to follow along with us and as always I'm in your

description towards him through the Devo the scripture is Galatian chapter 6

versus 7 through 8 and they say this

don't be misled you cannot mock the justice of God you will always harvest what you

plant those who live only you will always harvest what you plant.

Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature

will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature.

But those who live to please the spirit will harvest everlasting life from the spirit.

Dang, that's a good verse. Let's go. The devotional says this. We live in a time where expectancy has almost become a buzzword.

Whether it's in our careers or everyday life, we hear the word expectation or expectancy quite often.

A few weeks ago I was at my church for a worship practice.

Before every session, we always have a brief time of prayer

before getting lost in the music.

One of the words we brought up together was the word expectation.

My pastor began to talk about how many hours we get to serve at church each week. He said that

if those 10 to 12 hours we spend volunteering each week are the only hours that we spend in God's presence,

then we are missing out on so much more.

My mind immediately went to Galatian 6 verse 7, the law of sewing and reaping.

Expectation without investment is just a wish. I think a lot of times we are so expectant of things to come and that is a great thing
