One of the best parts about getting married was having someone to fight your battles with you.

But roommates don't always fight alongside.

You know, sometimes they just pay rent.

And I've learned the spiritual battles that God's asked me to fight are too weighty for me to fight alone.

And so it's one of the biggest reasons why I've tried to work really hard not to let us get to roommates.

Figure out as friends what unlocks the door

of your lover's heart. One of the biggest reasons why so many people in the church are struggling

in marriage is because God isn't involved enough in the marriage. The Spirit of God is most

involved in the spiritual knot which is tied in a marriage. This is why Ecclesiastes says

two people back to back, they can conquer, but a court of three strands is not easily broken.

When things aren't good in your bedroom, it can be more difficult for things to be good

in other areas too. And the other side of that coin is when things are good in the bedroom,

it can be a lot easier for things to be great in other areas. So let's talk a little bit about the different seasons

of physical intimacy in marriage. What's up everybody? Welcome to the leader Scott.

Today we have my favorite human being on the earth my wife of 24 plus years now uh 24 years and just over one

almost a month that's a day a month yeah yeah all right look at us 24 years in a month my wife holly

my best friend on planet earth, the person who knows me

better than any other human on the earth. And because this is releasing Valentine's week

of 2025, we thought we would talk about how to build a stronger, healthier, and certainly more intimate marriage.

And walk through some of the things that God has taught us over the last 26 years of being together.

It's just so you know, before we even pray about this, if you're single, this is not a marriage episode only for married people.
