I heard last night after I reported this piece and went out about an interview with the Red Sox were trying to recruit a member, a new person for their baseball operations department.

And during this interview process, the entire interview was conducted with an AI bot where you would record the answers to the questions,

and then the Red Sox would then evaluate them.

And this wasn't just one round.

It wasn't just two rounds.

It was five rounds of interviews where this person did not talk to another person in the Red Sox organization.

So again, June Lee reported that last night on early edition.

This is what I was teasing.

I knew he was going to say it and they told me not to say anything.

But again, someone was applying for a job in the Red Sox front office.

His first five rounds of interviews were conducted by AI.

He didn't speak to a single human being in the first five rounds of interviews.

What are your thoughts?

I mean, I'm not shocked.

And when I say I'm not shocked.

I mean, sadly, I think this is the way the world is going, not just the Red Sox. But that aside, look, it's, you know, I, I want to ask this question, what job is he applying for? And because if he was going to be one of these number crunching stat geeks, I would sort of think, a part of me thinks that it's the best way to do it because it's what he's going to be dealing with.

As crazy as that sounds.

But, you know, on a human level, do I think it's ridiculous?
