I'm Bruce Feldman, joined as always by my colleague Stuart Mandel.

We are taping this Tuesday morning right after the Florida Gators, terrific all-around athletic program.

They've won national titles in football.

Now they've won three national titles in college basketball.

Wild Final Four game beat.

Houston came back to win.

We're going to tie some of that into college football as well.

We're going to get into Stu spent the day at the courthouse in Oakland for a significant story related to college athletics.

We're going to get into that, and we're

going to answer your questions in the mailbag. Let's talk about this a little bit. I thought it was

interesting that when I went back and looked, Florida did not start the season in the preseason

top 20. I think they were ranked 21st or 22nd. It's kind of hard to fathom that a team that could

be ranked outside the top 20 in the preseason could win a national title in our sport college football.

It seems really far-fetched.

What were your impressions watching that as it relates to college football?

Well, not specifically about the basketball, but there was a moment.

I think it might have been right before that

awful final sequence for Houston, like during the timeout and Florida's up two. And they show a

crowd shot. And you can see Scott Strickland, their athletic director. I don't even think it was

intentional. I think they were just showing a, you know, generic shot of the Florida, the nervous

Florida crowd. And there he was. And what my first thought turned to, you know, if you think back to like September of last
