that there are some real manners by which Protestantism does not qualify for even the most

basic aspects of Christianity. The traditional story goes, there are three big genuses,

genera of Christian. There's Roman Catholics. There's Eastern Orthodox with like 14

autocephalous churches there. And then there's the 39,000 plus types of Protestant, Christian.

And the unifying theme, the single unifying theme that enables us to call all three types of Christian, a Christian,

Simplicitare, is the Trinitarian formula in baptism.

I baptize you, the baptize in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit,

which demonstrates a doctrinal commitment to Christ as part of the Trinity,

the Holy Spirit, the Pericles, as part of the Trinity, as the third person. Ofaclete as part of the Trinity as the third person.

Of course, God the Father, the God of the Israelites as the first person in the Trinity.

So there's a very real sense by which this is sort of adequate, satirologically, for young

Protestant children, who the ones who are Pato baptized until

the age of reason which is seven or eight this is true a Protestant baptism for a

one-year-old a four-year-old a seven-year-old is not much difference in terms of its grace efficacy

than a Catholic or an Orthodox baptism.
