look ahead with McShay and also what we saw from this past weekend, including the

Holmes getting it done again against the bills. Do the bills have a bills problem or is it something else? That's my open and life advice.

Before we get to McShay to break down all four games and maybe a little look ahead to the conference

championship weekend, my favorite weekend of the NFL season.

I want to talk about winners, and I want to talk about losers.

A GM for a team once told me this.

You go, sports, basically, and I'm paraphrasing here

the dumbest business because only one group

is supposed to feel good about themselves.

And you know if this GM doesn't have a championship you'd be like all right you know it was like when Billy Bean

Basically said you build your team to play the 162 and then it's a flip of the coin

It's like well is it because you haven't won and you're rationalizing your lack of success to the playoffs I didn't feel that way but that was some of the criticism they got because like he's kind of right

You look at who you are over all of these months and then you see how it plays out in the series and no more fragile than the NFL.

One and done. So we could probably get into the depth of sports the only thing where only one group is supposed to feel good

about themselves in their respective leagues.

I guess you could say politics maybe has some similarities except for the part

where like if the bills were making fun of the chiefs for four years and then at the

very end the bills were like hey do you want to join up and beat the ravens together

That would be a little bit more like politics

But if you're in sales you don't have to be the number one guy. You can have a great year.

If you're managing portfolios, you don't have to be the number one performing fund or bank or whatever you can have an awesome year and
