Steven Collinson. Welcome back to the podcast, Stephen. Hey, how you doing? I'm great. It seems like

for the first time in a while that I can remember that we're not talking so much about impeachment,

but rather this dust up at the Pentagon that has led to the resignation or firing.

It's hard to find out which of the Navy Secretary.

Right. So this morning I was sitting around waiting for an impeachment shoe to drop as we have of the last few weeks.

And we've never been disappointed. But so far there's no real impeachment news today.

You're right. This very mysterious issue of the firing of the Navy Secretary,

it has something to do with the President's anger that a Navy seal who was convicted of posing with the corpse of an ISIS fighter

against military rules and against all suggestions of military decorum

was demoted. Now, there's been a big controversy in the Pentagon about the handling of this.

The present, of course, playing to his base. And this is a big issue on Fox News has been very vociferous in his

opposition to any discipline being handed out to this officer. So this is something that's kind of

filling the vacuum of the impeachment story today. But in a way, I think you're right. It's the same

kind of issue. What brought this on was the fact that the

president was trying to intervene in establish chains of command. He was trying to go apparently
