Well, I knew, I mean, like most Americans have known for some time, This is a tragic failure. I used to, you know, question politicians.

And I, you know, politicians are always coming to Hollywood for money. And I belong to a group called the Show Coalition

and when Senator Mitchell or somebody like that would come out looking for cash for

their campaigns I would say you know when are you guys going to get serious

about the the drug war and this is a

disaster and you need to change your policy and so forth
