So we've started something new I don't know how long we've been at this a month or two and that is a podcast of a show

That is actually something we did in the past but was heavily requested.

And so we play it again as if new.

We call these archive.

So you'll notice that the description of this podcast says archive. This week the

archive podcast comes from 2015. I was honored to talk to two Navy SEALs, Leaf Babin and Jockow Willink. We discussed their book Extreme

Ownership, which was new at the time. The book is Extreme Ownership, how U.S. Navy SEALs lead and win and I will tell you I bought

several copies and gave them away and I listened to it on the on the book on tape.

It is a fantastic

fantastic read.

This podcast will hopefully wet your appetite to hear more of it. But it's about

taking ownership of your processes, of your relationships, of your responsibilities in such a way that

you never blame anyone else, even when it might be right to do so.

And that is a radical notion, extreme ownership how U.S. Navy SEALs lead and win.

And the reason for that, which they, the point they make, is it really doesn't matter if your

buddy doesn't do his job.

Do you want to die on the battlefield?

You better make up for his job. So they were assigned

to the most violent battlefield in Iraq. Jocko and Leif's Seal Task Unit had faced a seemingly impossible mission,

support U.S. forces in securing Ramadi.

And that city had been considered, I remember the phrase, all but lost.
