0:15.9	Today on the podcast we get to hear from someone who had been a voice on Adventure's
0:19.3	Odyssey for a very long time.
0:21.5	In fact, he was a voice even before it was called Adventure's in Odyssey.
0:25.3	That's right Bob.
0:26.3	Howard Reiser is the voice of Monty Whitaker, and his character first appeared all the way
0:30.6	back in a show called A Member of the Family, and that episode aired in March of 1987.
0:36.6	Wow.
0:37.6	Monty returns as a major character in album 53, so we thought we should hear what Chad
0:42.0	had to say about his many years of working on the show.
0:44.7	Let's get to it.
0:50.6	So Chad, how did you get connected to the drama all those years ago?
0:54.8	Well, it was actually through Paul McCusker, who obviously been so instrumental in Odyssey
0:59.8	over the years.
1:00.8	Paul was the drama director at my home church growing up of Calvary Community Church in
1:04.9	West Lake Village.
1:06.3	I think it was the mid-80s when he was there on staff, and he was writing original drama,
1:11.8	and I was really just one of the kids at the church, and I think I was in one of Paul's
1:15.8	scripts.
1:16.8	I don't remember what year it was, but it was mid-80s.
