and we'll be talking a little bit later about the X conference 2008.

Now, I realize that we've had, what, 103 episodes or 104 episodes so far of the powercast, and that not every one of

you out there has had a chance to listen the three or four times that we require to our show

so that we can ask questions later. So for those of you haven't heard Steve Bassett's previous

appearance, I'm going to ask him a few questions that will maybe cover old ground, or maybe we'll

cover the old ground in a new way, so it sounds different and unique. So, Steve, thanks for

joining us. And the first question I want to ask you is, how did you ever get involved in this

quote-unquote crazy UFO business? Well, the presence of extraterrestrials really got going in 1947

with a huge massive sightings.

I was born in December of 46, approximately eight months prior to the Roswell event.

So the ET issue is paralleled my entire life.

It's always been there.

And as I grew up, you see this report, you hear this, something on the radio, you see

some article in Look magazine. So it's dogging you literally, certainly me, right down through time.

I had a great interest in science. That's what I was best at. So I read a lot of science fiction.

All of that played well into this background noise of these entities coming and going and being seen.

And to some degree, something was being said about it.

And then I went off and did other things.

Later in life, I came to a point where I really was not satisfied with what I was doing and involved with.
